Oh, what a glorious Valentine's Day! I'm going to remember this day for a long, long time...and no doubt so will several others.

But I'll put it behind a cut, because it's going to be a long entry.

Not giving into the satisfaction...

Feb. 6th, 2006 | 07:28 pm

Not, not, not.

I am NOT going to tell Mr. Lucius Malfoy exactly what should be done with his mangy little hide. I am NOT going to pass on his son's ideas, which are even more colorful and painful than mine. And I am NOT going to give him the satisfaction of knowing how upset I am at the rude and horrid way he behaved last Wednesday.

What I will say is that St. Valentine's Day is coming, and Draco and I have decided that the best way to deal with the whole situation is to have a private day, away from all you horrid people who can't understand that for once, we're both happy. WE ARE HAPPY! Does everyone understand now?

So Ron, you can stop shooting me dirty looks every time I walk by.

My friends are all going to be shocked. Hell, most of the school is going to be in shock. I don't think anyone was expecting this. I know I wasn't.

I'm dating my secret admirer. That's not the shock.

This is.

An interesting day....

Well, well, well. It seems I have a secret admirer.

I went into Potions today and opened my bag...and found a beautiful single red rose, with a ribbon attached to it saying, "To the most beautiful girl in the world. I'll be seeing you. SA."

I must admit, I was surprised, and highly flattered! I wonder who it is? Whoever he is has wonderful taste: the flower is lovely, and has a Never-Wilt Charm laid on it. I had it checked out by Prof. McGonagall, just to be safe: she said it was a flower, nothing more. So now it sits in a little vase by my bedside, perfuming the air.

So thank you, SA! I hope you read this and let me know who you are. I'm highly puzzled..

Mail today!!!

I got a letter from Viktor today!

Isn't it funny - I'm really not that into Quidditch (although it is fun to watch), and I'm getting mail from one of the most famous Quidditch players in the world. Although I think that's part of what Viktor likes about me: the fact that I don't care that he's "Krum." To me, he's just Viktor.

He's invited me to Germany again this summer. Unfortunately, with the way the world is at the moment, I'm sure that my parents would frown on me going ANYWHERE. Too bad - I'd love to see Durmstang, and he's going to be a teacher there. Imagine, Viktor Krum, teaching! He's very excited about it. I'm sure he'll do well.

Unfortunately for me, and for him, he's not the Quidditch player I'm interested in...

odd ramblings...

You know, I think Professor Snape has gotten into Professor Slughorn's mead.

I mean, have you seen some of the posts he's written lately??? I am...puzzled.

No, I am horrified, discomfited and more than a little sick, actually.

And intrigued...this could be a humanizing side to the dear professor.

I cannot believe I'm reading that! Argh, Fred and George, why do I have a feeling you're behind all of this!

*stomps off to do some reading of a non-perverse nature, unlike most of these LJs lately!*

Really, don't you people have ANYTHING better to do?

My goodness, you people all live on these journals! Don't you understand how bad that is for you?

I mean, how do you find time to do homework?

I will still be writing in here, but due to the amount of classes I have, Professor Hawkins has given me permission to post less frequently than the class requires. Of course, I don't think he ever thought the class would explode like this! Now I finally have the time to reply to some of the things posted.

I will admit, however, to being VERY amused by certain entries of late. It seems Mr. Malfoy cannot hold his potions. Who knew?

And honestly Ron, it's not like I didn't tell you EXACTLY what I thought about your relationship with Lavender. To your face. However, you seem to be having memory problems lately, so that's not surprising that you don't remember.

Ginny, Myrtle is spreading trouble. Again. You should know better than that - why would I be telling anyone anything about you?

Mr. Weasley, I have several books about Rubik's Cube solutions. I'll send one by owl tonight.

Hmm, I think that's about it....and I have an essay for Runes to finish. And no, Ron, I'm NOT doing your Charms homework for you!

Musings on things...

You know, it's quite amazing how far a simple Muggle tool such as a computer has infiltrated so far into the Wizarding world. Would you believe there is a COMPUTER ROOM here at Hogwarts? No, I didn't think it existed either, until this year. Ron and Harry still don't believe me about it. Of course, that's nothing new. They seem to think I enjoy making things up for them. Especially now that Ron is...associating with Lavender Brown.

Lavender Brown?! Lavender BROWN?!?!

Honestly, it's at least as horrible as Bill and Phlegm...er, Fleur. At least Ginny agrees with me.

Okay, enough of that. I'm not going to dignify that...relationship with any more time on my LJ.

Welcome to my journal.

As part of my Muggle Studies class, we've been instructed to start a LiveJournal and keep it up for at least a year. I am fascinated by how many of my classmates have NO idea how to use a computer! Really, even though most of them don't have the advantage of growing up Muggle, I would have expected more of them to have at least READ the requirements of the class before signing up! Honestly. I mean, we've only had the syllabus for three days now!

Hmph. I suppose most of them will do what normal teenagers do, and find all the free porn on the Internet. The more I think about it, the more I'm glad that most wizards and witches don't use computers. I mean, can you imagine what someone like Lucius Malfoy would do on-line? And what about You-Know-Who? What an avenue!

Shut up, Hermione, before you start giving them ideas.

Not that they'd read my LiveJournal - never mind the fact that it requires them to use Muggle technology (which I'm convinced they think is a swear), but to read a Mudblood's words? Yeah, right.

Well, we have an essay due for Potions tomorrow (Professor Slughorn looks to be far easier on us than Professor Snape ever was) and while my essay is complete, I'm sure Ron and Harry haven't even started their's yet. Which means I have to help them.

More later.
